Can we keep a local backup?
Yes, a local copy can be included where requested and appropriate to the service design. The independent copy remains in Immutec’s private cloud.
Does backup include full disaster recovery?
DR, compute capacity, network continuity and failback are defined separately in your service scope. We agree what is included and what the recovery process covers.
How are retention and backup intervals chosen?
We work from your business needs, workload requirements and acceptable data loss. The agreed policy determines the available recovery points and retention period.
